I started potty training my 3 1/2 year old today. I went to change his diaper this morning and he tells me he doesn't want it. So that was that. I don't know why, but I thought I could train him just after his 3rd birthday. I have done this with 2 other boys. I know it usually doesn't happen until they are almost 4. That's just how it is with boys. Needless to say it didn't happen 6 months ago. He did great today! 8 times on the potty. I've been taking him every 30 minutes. I'm hoping he'll be able to tell me when he needs to go by Friday. Hopefully that's not wishing to much!

I can sympathize on your potty training plight. We got lucky with Emily, she's fully potty trained and she'll be 3 in May. But I've always heard girls are easier than boys.
